In 2021, it has never been more urgent to think ethically (or at least pragmatically) about the products we consume. I arrived in Hamburg for a student exchange with one suitcase and a backpack somewhere in March, I entered a white and empty room in a country I do not know and at a time when everything outside is closed. I discovered during this period that everything I needed I found on the street, the street and the outside were always an inspiration for me, This time they also served as a real raw material to create a pleasant space for a living and at the same time a creative and thoughtful space for this project.I love junk, and truly believe in the value inherent in objects, accessories and clothing that people leave behind and throw away. Because one's trash can really be another treasure. In this project I have chosen to give a stage to all these objects, accessories and clothes that we are in a hurry to throw away, or ashamed to pick up when they are near the trash can. "re-junk" is a branding campaign that deals with "garbage" Or rather in those objects that have been abandoned and gives them the proper stage. The campaign includes a street exhibition of the same objects and accessories that people have thrown away, and holds a lecture session of designers and artists on reusable art. The project takes what we call "junk" and puts it in a framework of luxury, quality and classicism so that we may look at it differently, promote fashion, design and circular consumption, change perception and method of thought and encourage creative thinking that says "use what you have" and look at the magic created.
